FRIEDRICH EBERT FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Applicants for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship for International Students are invited to apply. Students of African, Asian, Latin American, and Eastern Asian origins are encouraged to apply.

Students who demonstrate academic pedigree in any academic area at all, and wish to study in Germany as well as imbibe the core values of social democracy can apply without delay.

The scholarship awarded to candidates includes a comprehensive seminar program that is intended to enhance the candidates’ academic skills and social competencies. Nevertheless, these students ought to be high–performing students.

HOW TO GET FULLY-FUNDED MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN EUROPE

The Scholarship offers top-notch individual support by an onsite liaison academic staff. This also serves as another benefit of this scholarship.

The Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship for International Students is offered annually to at least 40 students. The Bachelor’s, Diploma, Magister, State examination scholarship holders are paid EUR 750 monthly while the Master’s candidates are paid EUR 850.

There is also a health insurance cover and nursing mothers are also provided with a family allowance package of EUR 276. The scholarship is fully-funded and cannot be repaid.

MAASTRICHT UNIVERSITY (UM) HOLLAND–HIGH POTENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must have admission to study or be enrolled at a state or state-recognized higher institution in Germany
  • outstanding school or academic merit (where required: first graded proofs of academic achievement)
  • social and political involvement and commitment to the values of social democracy
  • responsible, motivated, reliable individuals willing to get involved with the Foundation’s network
  • Sufficient knowledge of basic German
